I had the unique opportunity of growing up on a farm in a small community north of Boston. Living in a 150 year old antique colonial made for an interesting childhood. My parents spent thirteen years restoring and updating our home while raising four daughters. They were "do-it-yourselfers" before it was in vogue. My Dad's famous saying is "a family that works together stays together." My sisters and I were very involved in helping with projects. At the time I did not realize it, but I gained invaluable experience in home renovations and the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of horses. I spent most of my free time with my horse Angel, riding in the fields and on trails. In the process of riding I also attained a love of nature and appreciation for the natural beauty of plants, trees and flowers. When I left home and married, I was fortunate to be able to stay home and raise my children. I enjoy adding creativity into everyday life, just as my mother had done during my childhood. Designing with the inspiration of nature and having the ability to incorporate natural elements into my designs brings me great joy.
