HAPPY FRIDAY: IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE

With no room to spare (literally), I was DETERMINED to squeeze these papyrus plants into the overhang at Designer Bath's front entrance. There was absolutely no question in my mind that I was going to design an arrangement this summer, with a fabulous King Tut, Egyptian Papyrus.

A taste of the jungle in the Northeast works just fine by my standards. Color trends this summer (for me) lean towards mixtures of eggplant and chartreuse. Not to mention the addition of orange, because I love it, and because it happens to be one of Designer Bath's signature colors. Win, win... The orange isn't visible right now, while these designs adjust to their new home.

I am very pleased with the results, and in just three weeks time, these puppies will be picture perfect. Beautiful subtropical jungle-like designs of cascading textures and colors that I am confident will welcome guests to the 2nd Annual Designer Bath "Shine" event, July 31, 2013..
